BENNETT AND SHEILA (BALCH) BICKFORD
Bennett and Sheila (Balch) Bickford celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary along with many relatives and friends that traveled from Maine, New Mexico, Georgia, Tennessee and Oregon. Their golden anniversary celebration took place at the Coco Key Resort in Waterbury, Connecticut on Saturday, February 13th. Bennett was born and raised in Detroit, Maine married his bride, Sheila Balch of Fort Fairfield on February 11, 1966 at the Mill Plain Union Church in Waterbury, Connecticut. Together they have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. The couple currently resides in South Carolina.

Brian Philbrick Jr and Alex Roundy are pleased to announce their engagement. Alex Roundy of Newport is the daughter of David and Adrienne Roundy of Dixmont. Brian Philbrick Jr. of Pittsfield is the son of Brian and Catherine Philbrick of Palmyra. Alex attended Nokomis Regional High and is employed as a Registered Nurse at EMMC in Bangor and SVH in Pittsfield. Brian is a graduate of Maine Central Institute and is a junior studying Marine Engineering at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. A summer wedding is planned.

Brenda and Steve Lemieux of Exeter and Bill and Lisa Brasier of Ripley are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Alyssa Brasier to Nicholas Lee LePage, son of Dawn and Travis Allen of Newport. Kristen is a graduate of Dexter Regional High School, The University of Maine, Orono and Husson University, Bangor. She is employed as a physical therapist at Results Physical Therapy in Dexter. Nick is a graduate of Nokomis Regional High and is employed as a tool maker with Numberall Stamp and Tool in Sangerville.
