McElhearn/Lougee

On July 30th, 2011, Marty McElhearn, dressed in full firefighting turnout gear, and perched on one knee between the fire engines at Harmony Fire Station, asked Tiffany Lougee to take his hand in marriage.
Tiffany and Marty are 2008 graduates of Foxcroft Academy. Marty is employed at True Textiles in Guilford. Tiffany graduated from Central Maine Community College and the Clark F. Miller School of Radiology in 2011. She is employed at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. Marty is a volunteer firefighter for Harmony and Tiffany an EMT for the Harmony Ambulance. Tiffany is the daughter of Onie and Marie Lougee of Harmony. Marty is the son of John McElhearn of Ogdensburg, New York and Darlene Thomas of Ripley. An August 2012 wedding is planned. |

Myron and Theresa Whittaker
50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
|
Mr. and Mrs. Myron (Butch) Whittaker celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, October 15th at the Mason Hall in Clinton. The party was given by their two children, Kevine and wife Kim, and Kim Holt and son John Holt. Refreshments were put on by the Eastern Star.
Myron Whittaker and the former Theresa Proctor were married November 4th, 1961 at the Clinton Methodist Church by the Reverend Jane Pears. Mrs. Whittaker worked at the Clinton Ski-Land Woolen Mill for ten years and worked at the Keyes Fibre Company in Waterville for 37 years until she retired in 2002. Mr. Whittaker worked at the Ski-Land Woolen Mill in Clinton for 13 years, worked for David Proctor concrete for 10 years, and then worked at Keyes Fibre Company in Waterville for 27 years until retiring in 2002.
Guests attended the celebration from Connecticut, Florida, Blue Hill, Hartland, Clinton and Waterville. The couple has one special grandson, John T. Holt Jr. and their dog Angel. They received many cards and gifts in recognition for their special anniversary. They plan to spend some time in Florida this winter and take a cruise to the Bahamas. |

Booth/Thurlow
|
| Terry and Carla Booth of Hartland, along with David and Eva Thurlow of Unity, are proud to announce the engagement of their children, Krystal Rae Booth and Kevin James Thurlow. The wedding ceremony will be performed in August 2012 at Krystal’s family residence on Great Moose Lake in Hartland. A reception will follow at a location to be determined at a later date. |
