Palmyra Meeting Room
Award winning gospel singer Elzadia Parsons will be appearing in concert at the Palmyra Baptist Church on Sunday, July 27th. The concert begins at 10:45 AM. All are welcome to attend. Elzadia comes from a family of twenty-one children and has had the privilege of ministering in many churches, prisons and other functions throughout the state of Maine, twenty-seven other states and in Canada. Her style of music is southern gospel and she sings many of the songs heard on the radio and in concerts throughout the country. When she’s not performing in concert, Elzadia and her husband David, who reside in Corinth, attend the Jubilee Family Worship Center in Newport. The Palmyra Baptist Church is located on Main Street.

Pittsfield Congregational Church
On Sunday, July 27th at 9 AM, 18-year-old Christian recording artist, and former Egg Festival Princess winner, Kristyn Murphy will lead a musical worship service at the Pittsfield Congregational Church. Murphy, the daughter of John and Marylee Murphy of Orrington, graduated from John Bapst Memorial High School this past June and will be attending The Hartt School to major in classical vocal performance. Pittsfield Congregational Church is located on Somerset Avenue.

Summer Bible Hour returns to the Palmyra Meeting Room Monday, July 28th through Friday, August 1st at 10 AM. There will be songs, stories, crafts and prizes. Gospel meetings are planned nightly at 7 PM Monday through Wednesday. The Palmyra Meeting Room is located on the Madawaska Road. Family Worship Center VBS
The Family Worship Center of Dover-Foxcroft, presents Vacation Bible School at the Avalanch Ranch in Atkinson Wednesday, July 23rd through Friday, July 25th. Sessions will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM. St. Albans Union Church VBS
The St. Albans Union Church presents The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything, a Veggietales Vacation Bible School Monday, August 4th through Friday, August 8th from 6 to 8 PM. The event kicks off with a special Family Night event. Then kids will launch into a week of Bible learning. As they experience stories of some of the greatest heroes of the Bible, participants will learn what it means to be a true hero for God. Youth ages three through fifth grade are welcome to attend.
